Patagonia - Day #13

 Patagonia - Day #13 - Thursday, January 9th

1 flight down, 2 to go.  I’m currently sitting at a Starbucks in the Buenos Aires International Airport (EZE) at 6:25pm local time on Thursday, January 9th.  Our flight to Miami is scheduled to depart at 11:10pm.  We can only check-in for our flight at 7:10pm or later. 

So far so good today.  We had a nice breakfast at our hotel in El Calafate and then grabbed a 25 minute shuttle to the airport at 9am.   We checked in quickly and then grabbed a tea awaiting our 11:30am departure. 

The flight into Buenos Aires went well and arrived around 2:30pm.  After retrieving our luggage - we grabbed an Uber which transferred us to the International Airport.  This was a 45-minute transfer from the domestic airport.  Uber was about half the cost of a taxi - and more trustworthy in my opinion.  

We arrived around 4pm and have been resting/catching up on things the past 2 hours.  We’re getting ready to check-in for our flight and will grab dinner before our 11:10pm departure

It’s 10:15pm - we had a great dinner and Doug and Michael stopped in before boarding their flight to Houston - it’s a small world. Great to see them again!

Getting ready to board the flight into Miami.  We’ll be back in the US in about 9 hours.
